Stamp Review Crew - Playful Pals

Happy Sunday...and welcome to the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop...featuring Playful Pals!

So...I have a bit of a confession.  I was seriously smitten with this set and it's accompanying dies when it was first introduced in last year's Occasions Catalog...and I was super excited that it was carried over to the current Annual Catalog.  I've used it a bazillion times...and I was so happy when I found out that the Crew was featuring Playful Pals for this hop.  But lo and behold...and try as I might..I just couldn't create anything that I felt was blog hop worthy!  I almost opted out...but I decided to do go ahead with an idea I've had for this set for a long time.  It's super simple...and I think it's super cute...and it's just in time for Valentine's Day.

I've shown them on red, striped straws...but this idea would also be perfect for cupcake picks!

And the more I look at them...the more I love them!

Thank you for hopping with the Stamp Review Crew and Playful Pals!  If you're hopping in order you've just come from the talented Bruno Bertucci...and I know you'll want to hop over to see what Twila Davis has for you next.  It's sure to be awesome!

As always...

OSAT Blog Hop - No Rules New Year

Good morning...and Happy Thursday!  Today I get to hop with the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop for the first time...and I'm super excited to say I'll be hopping with this group all year!  YAY! This month's theme is No Rules New Year...and I chose to create a birthday card and matching popcorn treat box...using the super fun Party Animal DSP and Balloon Adventures Bundle.  Seriously...every single paper...and every single stamp...and every single die in this ensemble are nothing but fun!  See...

This CAS card was so easy to make...with colors that are all about celebrating!  And that little Party Animal Embellishment party's the perfectly charming accent!

Here...this Stitched Shapes oval in Tangerine Tango was just what I needed to help the let's celebrate sentiment pop!

I've created these for a special little guy who will soon turn a whole five years old.  He loves his birthday...and he loves his popcorn...and I can't wait to celebrate with him!

And below to hop on over to see what Wynn Grobb has for's sure to be fabulous!

And just in case you need's the full list of hop links!

Stamp Review Crew - Swirly Bird!

Hello...and welcome to my blog...This Pink Rooster!  I'm so happy you're here!  Tonight I'm hopping with the Stamp Review Crew...and sharing some amazing projects using the Swirly Bird stamp set.  This set has something for everyone...and seriously... I was head over heels in love the moment I saw it in the Annual Catalog!
That being said...and I don't know about you...but there seemed to be an extra challenge...for me...with a set didn't not include a sentiment.  And then it hit's not an extra challenge as much as it is an added opportunity to pair this amazing set with so many sentiments in other sets!  And so...because the swirly/scribbly circles in the Swirly Bird stamp set (and in the coordinating Swirly Scirbbles Framelits Dies set) are my probably my favorite products EVER...a card and matching gift box set were born!

There's something super fun about pairing the stamped swirly/scribbly circles with the die different colors and medium...and they're the perfect landing for the card's thank you sentiment.

For the gift tag I chose to highlight the smaller, solid swirly/scribbly circle image...and it, too, works beautifully with the die cut!

Thank you so much for hopping with the Stamp Review Crew and Swirly Bird!  If you're hopping in order you've arrived here from Bruno Bertucci...and I know you will love what Linda Callahan has for you next!
