OSAT Blog Hop - Clean and Simple

Good morning...and happy Thursday!  I'm hopping this morning with the One Stamp at a Time Blog Hop...with a Clean and Simple theme!

So...I've had the idea for this card for awhile...and I knew as soon as I saw the new Birthday Friends stamp set that I wanted to use this darling little girl image.  Isn't she just as sweet as can be?   I also knew that I wanted her to be carrying this little floral bouquet behind her back...and at the last minute I stamped the image on Berry Burst Cardstock for the just pop of color that I was looking for.

And then...because she is carrying flowers...I thought this quick and easy floral wrap would be the perfect way to complete my project.  I simply cut a 9"x 9" square of Fresh Florals DSP (in Berry Burst) and shaped it into a fun cone...perfect for the fresh lilacs I cut from our bushes in the side yard.

I cut a small tag in Basic Black, added a stamped and die cut bouquet to match the one carried by the little girl on the card and attached it to the floral wrap's Berry Burst woven ribbon.  Clean and simple...and lovely to boot!

And now...click on over to see what my crafty friend Kelly has for you!  It's sure to be something wonderful!
